Geocamminingcameroon is an industry-leading mining company, focused on early-stage exploration in Cameroon. the company was founded in 2012 and was granted two mineral exploration permits: Tcholliré, 496 km2 and Bénoue, 428 km2.
Strategically located on a major NE-SW deep crustal regional shear zone (TCHOLLIRÉ-BANYO SHEAR ZONE)
prospective for orogenic gold;
- Gold targets of VALNORD, GEOCAM MINING CAMEROON SA and ARACARI concessions are then related to that NESW trending regional shear zone, deep-tapping crustal lineaments which are commonly prospective for orogenic lode gold mineralization & deposits;
- High-grade gold up to 24.5 g/t hosted in Proterozoic soil and chip samples are recorded along this regional shear zone from VALNORD Cameroon,
- Initial Proterozoic rock-chip sampling returned values of up to 135.4 g/t Au from ORIOLE RESOURCES PLC, located at the NE of this shear zone. A JORC-compliant Exploration Target for the Bakassi Zone 1 prospect has been estimated between six and eight million tonnes at grades ranging from 1.50 to 1.70 g/t Au between 290,000 and 440,000 oz Au.
- Alluvial gold deposits observed within Tchollire and Benoue permits show their contents between 0.2<Au (g/m3) < 1.3
- Stream samples analyzed in Zimbabwe Lab show their
contents between 0.01< Au (g/t) < 54.08
